The Solution

We were successful in winning the enabling works, main substructure and external works on this flagship project from SRM in the southern region.  The substructure package contained of two basement excavations, ejector wells for basement dewatering, temporary propping system, individual pile caps, ground beams, 1500mm thick raft foundations, linear walls, capping beam construction, ground floor slabs, storm & foul drainage system accompanied with an attenuation tank.

·         14,000 m3 of structural reinforced concrete

·         1,700 tonnes of reinforcement ranging from 10mm to 32mm diameter bars

·         2,800 linear metres of new storm / foul drainage – of which 1,800 metres was ensign cast iron pipework

·         8,000 m2 of granite / sandstone paving
