The Solution

We secured the earthworks, drainage and structures package on this project. The project included bulk earthworks cut and fill exercise including the formation of a new underpass and construction of 2 new bridges. A new drainage system was installed northbound, southbound and in the central reserve over a 3km stretch. A summary of our package included:

·        350,000 m3 cut and fill 

·         20,000 metres of carrier / filter / narrow filter drains ranging from 150mm to 1800mm diameter and 3,000 m3 attenuation tank

·         350 nr new chambers ranging from 1050mm to 3000mm diameter chambers

·         65,000 tonnes of imported quarried type 1 for new pavement construction

·          2 nr bridges on the East and West side of Tollbar Island for new underpass including

·         6,500 metres of combined kerb drain

·         15,000 metres of precast kerbs

·         Pre-cast bump wall installation
