The Solution

The second phase of Pinewood comprised of 3nr new filming studios accompanied with associated pile cap foundations and groundbeams. Our scope also included new concrete slabs, retaining walls, internal tarmac roads, white lining, kerbing, new drainage system to suit, external services and an earthworks bund around the perimeter of the site.

·         101,000 m2 of vegetation strip with cut and fill exercise

·         3nr new filming studios with associated foundations and floors slabs

·         17,000 m2 of external concrete aprons

·         34,000 m2 of tarmac roads

·         1,900 m2 of footpaths

·         3,500 metres of kerbing

·         2,500 metres of new Gatic slot drain

·         7,500 metres of new storm / filter / foul drainage

·         9,000 metres of trenching for external services
