The Solution

The 12 million regeneration of Birmingham’s Eastside district is the first inner city park to be constructed within Birmingham for over 130 years. The scheme which combines a mixture of over 4000m2 of hard landscaping, a concrete linear water feature of over 180m long, numerous benches, a children’s play area and nearly 7 acres of green space are included in the area adjacent to Millennium Pont and the historic Curzon Street Station.

Working closely with Wates within tight budgetary constraints – Hillstreet were on site throughout the duration of this prestigious scheme to deliver the quality of product synonymous with our reputation. Works on the scheme included demolition, S278 highway works, earthworks, drainage, service diversions, duct installations, irrigation pipe work installation, underground plant rooms, foundations and a variety of hard landscaping materials.
